We have sisters involved in Pastoral work; teachers working in Schools & Colleges and working as Counselors. In 1995, the Sisters at Vimalalayam started associating with other charitable institutions like Don-Bosco. They requested us to take care of girls who were in dire straits. Valsalyabhavan was set up for this purpose. As a mark of appreciation, the Corporation of Cochin had offered a two storey building with all modern amenities, to accommodate the girls.  There are 2 such homes of Valsalya Bhavan, one in Thammanam  and the other in Vaduthala. Girls between the age of 4-12 reside at the  Thammanam home. Once they reach the age of 13, they will be shifted to Valsalya Bhavan at Vaduthala.

In 2008, Adelaide Bhavan was started to accommodate girls who successfully passed their SSLC Examinations. Girls who wished to go for higher studies were placed in the nearby colleges and institutions.
